Diagnosis
Vertex with engraved and weak reticulation, smooth inside ocellar triangle, only slightly more hairy than in “normal” Horismenus, setae short; occipital margin rounded off; midlobe of mesoscutum and scutellum reticulate with raised and strong small-meshed reticulation, with sparse setation with short setae; costal cell bare; submarginal vein with two setae; first gastral tergite reticulate in posterior 1/3, lateral surface predominantly reticulate; flagellum with all segments distinctly separated in both sexes; antenna long: scape reaching above level of vertex, flagellomeres more than 2X as long as wide, spicule long and narrow; pronotum long and narrow.
